Let me start by talking about what the big issues are as we look over the next 20 to 30 years.
I believe the key item is, in fact, the Information Revolution. It will change a great deal. If we look back at the Industrial Revolution -- look what it did to the world -- it changed our world from a rural, agrarian society to an urban, industrial society. It also dramatically raised the standard of living but in a process that was pretty disruptive. I think the Information Revolution will be every bit as disruptive, and it has every bit as much potential.
Let me give you three very specific examples. They are ones that impact Boeing and impact the industry in general. The first one is air traffic management; second, convenience for the air passenger; third, integrated defense. Let me talk about each one
First: Air traffic management. I think the key here is that the opportunity exists to do something dramatic about safety, about security, about capacity, and about efficiency of the operation of the air traffic system. That is a pretty tall order, but I think the information technology and systems integration capability that the aerospace industry has offers us enormous possibilities.
Second: Convenience for the air passenger. If we look at air travel today, there are a couple of things that could be improved, and I think again we can do something significant. For example, a large portion of the trip is not spent in the air. It's spent on the ground; i.e., in processing people, in check-in, in security checks. Again, I think information technology and large-scale integration can do a lot in this direction. One suggestion has been that smart cards, containing biometric data, would allow a trusted traveller -- someone who travels frequently -- to be identified, to know that they are who they say they are, and that would allow pre-clearance for customs, for check-in, for more safety and security.
Third: Integrated defense. Maybe the best demonstration of the impact of information technology is integrated defense. We have an opportunity to radically change this capability, to provide our defense systems with the ultimate in high ground -- information superiority. The possibility exists for that with the use of satellites, the use of manned and unmanned air vehicles, and the use of manned and unmanned ground vehicles all networked together.
in labs around the world, researchers are busy creating technologies that will change the way we conduct business and live our lives. These are not the latest crop of gadgets and gizmos: they are completely new technologies that that could soon transform computing, medicine, manufacturing, transportation, and our energy infrastructure. Nurturing the people and the culture needed to make the birth of such technological ideas possible is a messy endeavor, as MIT Media Lab cofounder Nicholas Negroponte explains in Creating a Culture of Ideas. But in this special section, Technology Review's editors have identified 10 emerging technologies that we predict will have a tremendous influence inte near future. For each, we've chosen a researcher or research team whose work and vision is driving the field.
Information technology changes the world, for example:In yahoo answers you can ask a question on the north pole, and your answer can reach you from the south pole in fraction of seconds. We can also transact business of Millions without carrying cash around the world. With technology, we can predict weather which can in return help us plan against any unforseen circumstances. The world without technology will be worst than hell.
IT changed the world rapidly and they changed our lives form the past 10 years. Maybe is the internet; maybe is the PC, or other kind of device or service. Technology is also obviously turning more and more to the fun part of our lives as everything has the tendency to shrink in size but burst with power, be it processing, storage or communications wise.
The mobility aspect is becoming relevant for all sorts of devices. Mobile entertainment such as MP3 players, digital cameras, portable game consoles and even tiny projectors that can turn a wall into a home theater are a reality for a growing number of users.
Samsung says that is has developed the world’s first eight-die multi-chip (MCP) package technology for use in high capacity mobile devices. The new MCP chip has a combined capacity of 3.2 gigabits and is only 1.4mm thick.
technology really changed our daily lives, if there is no technology..our lives will be boring.. technology help us alot of things.. you know why? it's because what if no Web? no laptop , no ATM card. it makes us alot of work.. if there is no technologies.. I have plenty of friends in other part of the world.. i cant call and chat them without computer or a mobile phone.. it's such a jerk.. Plus i love music alot.. i love listening my favorite songs.. it really help us.. i also love to play computer games.. i cant live without it.. huhuhu..So, that's why technologies help us our daily lives more easier and faster. Sometimes i meet friends through internet chatting or internet online games.. I really hope that there will be more new technologies in future.
IT changes the world does Living in a high-tech age. It's easy that "technologies" didn't always mean iPods,DVD and the Internet. For the past year the technologies is not working perfectly because of locking devices.
But this year and coming years we have the perfect devices to accomodate and to have communication of everyone.
And it can help also to make the work done easily, and we have also have many games for childrens and also for adults.
Information Technology changes the world because we are now in modern Generation and that is technology and as I know technology make our work easy. Information Technology has changed the world faster than many of us because many of us know how to use computers and another technology. Many inventors making new and modern technology for make our world more on technology. Nowhere can the effect of technological change both in terms if choice and in terms if cost. Information technology is very important in our daily lives.
In recent years, rapid technological progress has helped raise income and alleviate poverty in developing countries. The spread of cell phones, computers and others technological innovation has generated economic growth while improving health care and agricultural production in developing nations. The beginning of the 'information' revolution, in an influential book. Toffler(1980)calls it, 'The Third Wave'. The purpose of this study was to gain a clearer understanding of the relatively new phenomenon known as the “technology evangelist.” By our exploration, we aim to help readers improve their management functions, and to understand how best to integrate “evangelists” within their organizations.
In order to do so, we analyzed the roles of those who hold this position and leadership styles. Our research included surveying and interviewing twenty-nine technical evangelists worldwide from a variety of cultures and organizations. Some general tendencies regarding the role did, indeed, emerge. However, we also discovered variable character, or personality, patterns among the participants. Therefore, we proceeded to examine the gap, between the role of the technology evangelist and the subject’s personal character.
We contrasted individual competencies with these character patterns, and created a grid to analyze their qualities of leadership. This paper includes our recommendations for recruiting, integrating, developing and managing the technology evangelists.
This was because the defensive had become far more powerful than the offensive: it was almost impossible to successfully attack.
This situation was the result of technology: the repeating rifle (which allowed accurate fire out to over 500 metres, compared to under 100 metres fifty years earlier); the machine gun; 'quick-firing' artillery, which specifically means an artillery gun that can fire repeatedly without having to be re-aimed every shot. These made it much easier to defend than attack.
These created the situation the warring nations found themselves in. They tried technologies to get their attacks going again, including flamethrowers, poison gas, and tanks (armoured vehicles).
Also contributing in a wide sense were railways and aeroplanes, which allowed rapid movement of armies and for excellent observation of the enemy.
Another way to look at the question is very broadly: WW1 was the first war between nations... not just their armies, but their whole economic and financial resources, with the whole national effort going toward the war. Industrialisation, colonisation and mass transport (steamships) and communication (electric telegraph) all created this situation, with the war being on a huge scale, lasting for years and destroying so much. So in this sense industrial technology and the organisation of society around it was the key thing, not a particular weapon.
The technology change the world when everyone is just trying to stay survive. because they develop there technology to make the future worth looking forward, other technology use high gadgets to easily access the information. New technology constantly being invented in many universities and companies they can easily send there program to the other network and also this new generation are using communication around the world through using YM and Email.. This generation technology change the world is high quality and easily to manipulate to access the information, this technology also is useful to other companies like programming or using java script.... =)
Information technology change the world by manipulating information in business around the world giving investors a real time information in the market.
this information gives the investor ideas when to sell and when to buy..
Part of me technology makes thing faster because lets say in the past there are using only typewriter but for now we are using computer because of the technology lots of us are change.. Part of it we can use internet finding information looking for job at web an thats are the technology means to me....SOWE MAM D NA JUD KO MAG FWENSTER...SALAMAT..ingats^^
As for the last two decades, the microprocessor.examination of the graph blow reveals two numbers of intense interest.first the the optical bandwidth for commercial networks has doubled over 9 times in the eighteen year period from 1979 to 1997.The IT industry now accounts for more than one-third of the U.S. economy! it is one of the fastest growing industies in the U.S. economy. The last approach to valuation assumes that "loyal" customers who visit a site regularly are doing so in anticipation of purchases and that each hour spent will result in some average revenue to the site. This is a plausible, but largely untested premise.
Information technology changes the world by giving us aid in our daily work. It also help us monitor the safety and security in our daily activity. It also help the security who facilitate the air travels so that it they can avoid accidents. Information technology also help our economy grow and it helps the companies to advertise their product to the consumers. Information technology also aid us from natural calamities like typhons and earthquakes so that we will know what to do if it happens in our place.
Information technology gave big changes to the world. If we can recall what was the world before without the presence of IT, specifically in Education using canned instructional programs, but now, everything are best supported with technology, they can have easy available access to technical assistance. As well as the students, almost all the tasks given by the teachers are depended on the internet since internet gives a more reliable answers.
Another example is the communication. Before, if not our own selves, we were asking somebody to give or to relay our messages to which we wanted to receive. If not written on any piece of paper, it was verbally relayed to the person, and since it was just done like that, sometimes, or should I say most of the time, what we wanted to say to the person is not really what he got when he received the message. Compared to now, with just one click of the word "sent" through cellular phone or computer, the person we are trying to reach will get the message with just a winked of an eye without any obstacles that may cause to change your message.
IT gives benefits to people since it makes our life easier and somehow, exciting! But everything has its own advantages and disadvantages. So it only means that though IT makes almost everything easier and great, we can't still deny the disadvantages it gives. One of those disadvantages is laziness. People became lazy since they are dependent now to technology. Sometimes, they think Technology as their life in the sense that they can't live now without the things that are given to them by technology. Another thing, Gambling’s are made easier as well.
IT is really a big help, but so sad to say, many people abused it and are taking advantages to its capability.
technology really changed the world. if there is no technology there will be no computers, cellphones, tvs, and other electric gadgets. without this things our life will be boring and makes us consume a long time to finish our works.tecnology also help countries to boom. technology also help countries to strengthen their defense for a possible attack of other countries. technology is a very big help for all us..
In the early age, thousands of years ago, technology is the means of people to have food and shelter. This is also their means to sustain their cultures and their social lives. That's why I can say that "technology" isn’t it all about iPods, DVD’s, Internet and etc. It is also a part of our culture. It is used to rule a society's values and beliefs. And because of that, culture is changed in many different ways, with the help of "technology". "Technology" doesn’t only explores on traditional topics, but also in many significant advances as well as revolutionary breakthroughs. In my conclusion, "Technology" is not just used in the means to pursue material economic goals, but also non-economic goals, such as sustaining the social order and expressing cultural meaning.
The begins with the stone age ends with the global economy.IT defines technology broadly, exploring not only traditional topics agriculture, industrialization, transportation, navigation and computers but also medicine and paharmacology, warfare, timekeping, and domstic and fine arts.Technology just not means to pursue material and economic goalscreating wealth, maintining military power, improving health and providing entrtainment.People may also use technology to pursue non-economic goals, such as sustaining the social order and expressing cultural meaning.
Information Technology have a major obstacle to overcome in taking advantage of these changes in industry that have become possible due to the enormous advances in technology. That obstacle is the extreme shortage of skilled workers in the IT industry. The shortage is compounded by the rapid changes in technology which make some skills obsolete in just short time...In 1998 survey, the Information Technology Association of America has identified more than 346,000 unfilled IT positions, the 10% is vacancy in US IT corporation. The IT industry now accounts for more than one-third of the growth in the U.S. economy!IT is the one of the fastest growing industry in the world.
According to the ITAA "A number of factors are contributing to this ever-increasing shortage, including an inaccurate image of the IT profession, the under-representation of women and other minorities in the IT workforce, and outdated academic curricula that oftentimes does not keep pace with industry needs. In addition, our country’s policy makers must place greater focus on education and training to satisfy the rapidly growing demand for skilled IT workers."
technology has change the life of the many people around the world. It is something that keeps on improving which takes over some jobs that human used to do and change the way if how things gets done.
technology, for example; office application, accounting program and internet, makes things to process faster, neater and efficiently. before technology was advanced, nearly everything was slow and required a lot of work and manpower. typing in typewriter, finding information from a pile of books in the library ,doing accounting manually - those are very slow and time consuming process. it is the technology thats speeds up everything! typing things like proposal and study notes using an application, for example, microsoft word, made it easier to edit if there is any mistakes and able to share with the classmates or to others using the internet by upload them to the web.. -thats all! thank you..-
IT Changes the World in the way of improving the world from Stone Age to Global economy. Some of the Technologies now is high. Like for example is the Computer and Internet. With computers, it's different. It's more than just typing on a computer screen. You are free from linear thinking. Also using the Computer and internet you can easily communicate into other people by way of Chatting, Email, and Messaging...
Technologies in this time have improved a lot. Many people has benefited in the new technologies now the new technologies made there life Fast, Easy and Comfortable in any work that they have done in there everyday work's. Technology in this time have given the people a big advantage.
The Main target of technologies since before until now is to improve the life of every people to be Easy, Fast and more Comfortable to there lifestyle.
I think the Information technology will be every bit as disruptive, and it has every bit as much potential.
I think the information technology and systems integration capability that the aerospace industry has offers us enormous possibilities.
I think information technology and large-scale integration can do a lot in this direction.

So, in the end, information technology will radically change the world and our industry. It will change the way we control airplanes. It will change the way we move people through airports and connect them. It will change defense systems. Now I'd like to take your questions.
Information technology changes the world by living in a "high-tech age"for thousands of years ,it was the means by which people secured food and shelter, established social order and shaped and sustained their cultures." "Along with language, religion and social culture 'technology is part of the culture of a given people and perhaps more than any other element's is used to shaped and illustrate society's values and beliefs"."While all cultures have technology ,every culture uses technology differently ." People may also use technology to pursue non-economic goals ,such as sustaining the social order and expressing cultural meaning." Technology has changed all of us in the ad business and creativity, not only are we working more creatively ,the way we work at creating is different. With computer's, it's different .It's more than just typing on a computer screen .Technology often is criticized for taking us further from the natural order of things.
Technology changed the world, today's newspaper are full of stories about impressive technologies. You will read stories about other grand inventions that were detined to transform our lives.
TECHNOLOGY WE HAVE CREATED AND WHICH WE CREATE IS ALSO HARD AT WORK CREATING US .WE HAVE BECOME LIKE OUR WORK,EVER CHANGING AND EVOLVING.CHANGED HAS BECOME THE ONLY CONSTANT.
-Nowadays, we are all aware of talking about what the big issues are as we look over the next 20 to 30 years. In fact, I believe the key item is the Information Technology. Also information technology will change everyone and everything in society: how we work, live, play, and communicate with others. The next 25 years will see dramatic cost/performance improvements in technology, and these improvements will lead to a very different world. It will be a world in which computation will be both pervasive and invisible, leading to an environment where everyone and everything will be connected to the Internet. Vast amounts of data will be stored digitally online, creating huge opportunities for those companies that can find valuable information in a sea of apparently random data. It will also be a world in which the difference between the "real" and the "virtual" will become blurred, allowing for new experiences for recreation and new ways to conduct business.
in recent years, rapid technological progress has helped raised income and alleviate poverty in developing countries. the spread of cell phones, computers and other technological innovations has generated economic growth while improving health care and agricultural productions in developing nations. but these countries still have a long way to go to catch up to the rest of the world.
the most important strategy for using innovative technology is discovering and developing a new, profitable market every nation has the potential for achieving a more affluent society by introducing technology and developing added value in manufactured goods. india succeeded in supplying food for its population, and projections are that india will even export food in the near future. on the other hand, even today 60 percent of the world's population subsists at a starvation level. therefore there should be cooperation and understanding among nations concerning the use of technology as a tool for achieving an improved standard of living for all people.Unfortunately, the fruits of technology are often treated too politically to be used to upgrade the quality of human life. nations should to introduce technology for the purpose of improving tomorrow's quality's life.
However,it is clear that fewer lives are mired in poverty and that more people are benefiting from the opportunities made possible by spread of technology.
It's hard to believe in advances that are poised to change the world when everyone's just trying to survive. But these tireless innovators are developing technologies that are making the future worth looking forward to again.
Some agents - and their sales counterparts in other corners of the business world - have taken to it better than others, says real estate agent consultant and coach Michael Russer.
#.Russer travels the world, pushing his brand of Internet sales help while sharing the stories of agents who have locked in to what a specialized Web presence can do for them, whether it's going after military buyers, condo customers or nudists.
He spoke before more than 200 Coldwell Banker agents in SeaTac, Wash., recently and preached niche marketing and passed along a potentially counterintuitive message: Make marketing about the customers, not you.

#.How Technology Changes Writing Practices
When we use the term “digital writing,” we refer to a changed writing environment—that is, to writing produced on the computer and distributed via the Internet and World Wide Web. We are not talking about the computer as a stand-alone machine for writing; although that particular technological development has indeed changed the writing process, the computer itself as a stand-alone machine is not revolutionary in the sense we mean. Rather, the dramatic change is the networked computer connected to the Internet and the World Wide Web. Connectivity allows writers to access and participate more seamlessly and instantaneously within web spaces and to distribute writing to large and widely dispersed audiences.
#.How AMD Technology Changes the World We Live in Today It's easy for people who are used to having technology at their fingertips to forget how influential new technologies are in day-to-day life. Technology has changed people’s lives. It contributed a lot to the people in terms of making there work faster and easier. Like the Internet, people can now access or search different web sites like Yahoo and Google. This type of search engines can help many people specially student like me in terms of projects and assignments. Technology, for example; office application, accounting program and internet, makes things to process faster, neater and efficiently. Lot 's of teacher are using Microsoft Office for their lesson plans and more. Advance technology is a blessing, it saves the time and cost for mankind.
Today that is no longer true as upstart young companies have their way into the worlds largest industry: information technology! At one time you would have to look no farther than the Dow Jones Industrial Average to find those companies that mattered in global commerce.
*Farnborough airshow said?!
he believe the key items is, in fact, the information revolution. it will change a great deal. if we look back at the industrial revolution, look what it did to the world, it change our world from rural, agrarian society to an urban!
*They are tree very specific example! 1.) traffic management 2.)convenience the air passenger 3.)integrated defense!
*And there was a private equity world to change it!
As more corporations are acquired by private equity (PE) firms, CIOs may find themselves bracing to prepare for unknown impacts on IT strategy, budgets and in-flight initiatives. Will the new owners bring in their own IT leadership, focus on cost restructuring, or redirect current technology budgets and programs? And how closely will the operating units of the acquiring private equity firm engage with day-to-day IT governance activities!
*The information technology ghange the world trough mobile?
The mobile phone is the most successful inventions in the last century. In the late 90s, mobile phones became one of the major communication devices. The first commercial mobile phone system started in 1979 in Japan. According to Cellular Online, the global mobile phone subscribers in 2003 are around 1.52 billion, which is about 20 percent of the current world population. This figure showed the success of the mobile phone industries. In about 20 years̢۪ time, this technology conquered the global and became a demand for the majority of people in the world. It provided communication for people no matter anywhere and anytime.
it changed our world from a rural, agrarian society to an urban, industrial society. It also dramatically raised the standard of living but in a process that was pretty disruptive. I think the Information Revolution will be every bit as disruptive, and it has every bit as much potential

50x15 News Features AMD Executive Perspectives: There Is No Silver Bullet to Digital Inclusion 12/1/2005
William T. Edwards Conquering the digital divide requires partnerships and cooperation
By William T. Edwards, Ph.D., Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer at AMD
We are proud to introduce a new feature to our readers in this issue of 50x15 Connections. In September, AMD Sr. Vice President William "Billy" Edwards was named the company's chief innovation officer, a role that includes executive oversight of 50x15. Billy has an entrepreneurial background that is critical to the success of 50x15. In this and future issues of 50x15 Connections, Billy will discuss his opinions, observations and analyses of issues relevant to the world of digital inclusion. Welcome aboard Billy!
Austin, TX — Much is said of the potential for technology to enhance quality of life worldwide by bridging the digital divide, but it's important to remember that this potential can only be realized through an organized and determined global effort led by industry and governments in partnership.
For our part, the technology industry has a responsibility to expand its focus beyond just creating smaller and faster computing applications and devices — we must foster sustainability. We must focus on developing and delivering useful, intuitive and culturally-relevant solutions to empower more of the world's population.
We at AMD, along with industry partners, believe that deploying knowledge-based technology tools can help create individual opportunities as well as drive the formation of a business ecosystem to provide the foundation for sustainable growth. This is only possible through cooperation and open dialog between the public and private sectors, and by harnessing our collective efforts.
Among our most visible global efforts is the 50x15 initiative. This initiative addresses the social and economic inequity that stems from the fact that less than 15 percent of the world's six billion people currently have access to the Internet and the economy it is helping to drive. 50x15 is about more than technology and will require investments in more than just technology to become a reality.
AMD recognizes that the actual computing device is only one small part of the complex value chain that must be secured to ensure successful, sustainable technology deployments. Sustainable technology deployments require a complete ecosystem of providers working together to deliver localized content, service and support for the devices and networks. Recognizing the need for individual opportunity in tandem with the potential for mass empowerment through technology can be a major incentive for all involved to work together for the greater good.
It is in this economic ecosystem where some of the most important development opportunities and rewards exist today.
AMD and its partners have already taken steps to empower economic ecosystems in high-growth markets with technology specifically designed to connect people throughout the world to the Internet simply, affordably and reliably. The first solution in this innovative category is the Personal Internet Communicator — or PIC — a new class of affordable technology. There is no other product like it in the world today.
The PIC has been specially designed to address the evolving requirements and needs of first-time technology users. Device software is tailored to each market and features a complete suite of applications including Internet Explorer, e-mail, instant messaging, web content viewers, spreadsheet application and a word processor, which provide the user with full creation and productivity capabilities both on and offline. During its first year of inception, the PIC has proven itself to be a truly empowering device that is benefiting people from Africa to Brazil and it performed admirably in support of hurricane Katrina relief efforts. These are the types of technologies that, with the proper education and economic support, carry the potential to help a growing economy begin to narrow the digital divide.
The final point I want to emphasize about the technology ecosystem is the need to build strong government relations and the importance of sound public policy on the local and national levels. Virtually any endeavor to bring IT to a rural community demands a certain level of government support and involvement.
In today's economy, regardless of one's location on the planet, the reality is that sustainable business models drive sustainable technology and education. This is a main tenent as to why 50x15 is not based on charity. Rather, it is founded on the premise that bridging the digital divide is about empowerment and education. 50x15 exemplifies AMD's careful attention to its customers in designing and developing relevant technology solutions for our clients based on their unique needs. We believe that there cannot, and should not, be a "one-size-fits-all" technology solution. The opportunity for active consumers in burgeoning technology markets around the world to make choices — to determine what is best for them — is fundamental to the success of 50x15.
We in the technology sector must invest in research and development, in partnerships with our customers, to bring new products to market. Government should consider the same; no one company or one government can do it alone. There must be partnership and joint investment in order to deliver universal access to the digital building blocks of the global economy.

Since man started using tools, technology has in turn shaped human society. Even in the beginning these changes were drastic. We all know that information technology currently or slowly changing the world. Stone tools opened up new sources of food, enabling primitive man to expand in population and territory. These tools also changed the social structure of primitive man, putting more emphasis on males to capture large game. Ever since, advancing technology has changed our society, transforming how we conduct our daily lives. The changing of information technology to the world has 2 different result, either it can be positive or negative. When we say positive, the result of it, was that, it makes our work easier. The most important thing to an information age economy is the ability to transmit information quickly and cheaply. Telephones, copiers, overnight delivery services, and fax machines are the basis for our information based economy. The above list doesn't include one means of communication that is more important, because it is not an extension of old technology. The advantages of such a message system may not be obvious at first. Instead of taking days to get a message to someone across the country or the world, is only takes a few minutes. This is one of the principle advantages it has to normal mail. With emerging standards for the transmission of images, it is now practical to transmit these as well. An advantage over the phone system is that it is asynchronous as well. The senders and recipients using this system can communicate at their leisure, instead of having to be ready at the same time. Even though fax machines are becoming more popular, they are still quite slow and inefficient for pure text transmissions. The effect of all this on the scientific community is to speed up research greatly. Instead of waiting for the next journal to arrive by mail, scientist can find out what is going on right now not just last year or last month. This allows scientists to take advantage of new research quickly, which makes them work better. The one who is studying about the weather, with technology they can predict weather, which can in return help them plan against any unforeseen circumstances. And also, for the businessman, with technology you can transact businesses of Millions without carrying cash around, this can be appreciated better if you are in say America and you suddenly find yourself in Africa you will be dazed indeed. Some people say that the world without technology will be worst than hell. And when we say negative, the result of it was that, it make things worst. For instance, in the industrial age, with all the good and bad things it created. Most notably among these was the diminishing portion of the economy devoted to agriculture. Now people were spending their days (and nights) in factories instead of in the fields. Living conditions in most places went up, and the standard of living rose considerably. At least the standards that can be measured went up, like things that can be bought. It is difficult to say if other factors like happiness went up as well. Being laziness of a person is also one of the negative result in having a high-tech technology because of depending himself in the technology.

The Information Revolution can change the world, it can help us to change the industrial society, many people strugling to find some work by the Information Technology it can help you to find a nice job. In our generation today many people came from the other countries went to the other countries, they can easily find a place by the help of the Information Technology.
Information Technology can help also to the Companies, Goverment and other Company use for travel.
Thats why i agree that IT change the world....char!!!!!

"Information Technology Will Change the World"
Let me start by talking about what the big issues are as we look over the next 20 to 30 years.
These are not the latest crop of gadgets and gizmos: they are completely new technologies that that could soon transform computing, medicine, manufacturing,
transportation, and our energy infrastructure.
Information technology changes the world, for example:In yahoo answers
you can ask a question on the north pole, and your answer can reach you from the south pole in fraction of seconds.
But this year and coming years
we have the perfect devices to accomodate and to have communication of everyone.
How IT change the world?
Answer:
Information technology change the world by manipulating information in business around the world giving investors a real time information in the market.
this information gives the investor ideas when to sell and when to buy..
-carlo lagda
-thats all! thank you..-
"IT Changes the World"
IT Changes the World in the way of improving the world from Stone Age to Global economy.
"How Information technology changes the world"
I think the Information technology will be every bit as disruptive, and it has every bit as much potential.
I think the information technology and systems integration capability that the aerospace industry has offers us enormous possibilities.
I think information technology and large-scale integration can do a lot in this direction.
One suggestion has been that smart cards, containing biometric data, would allow a trusted traveller -- someone who travels frequently -- to be identified, to know that they are who they say they are, and that would allow pre-clearance for customs, for check-in, for more safety and security.

So, in the end, information technology will radically change the world and our industry. It will change the way we control airplanes. It will change the way we move people through airports and connect them. It will change defense systems. Now I'd like to take your questions.
Information technology changes the world by living in a "high-tech age"for thousands of years ,it was the means by which people secured food and shelter, established social order and shaped and sustained their cultures."
"Along with language, religion and social culture 'technology is part of the culture of a given people and perhaps more than any other element's is used to shaped and illustrate society's values and beliefs"."While all cultures have technology ,every culture uses technology differently ."
People may also use technology to pursue non-economic goals ,such as sustaining the social order and expressing cultural meaning."
Technology has changed all of us in the ad business and creativity, not only are we working more creatively ,the way we work at creating is different.
"How information technology changes the world?"
-Nowadays, we are all aware of talking about what the big issues are as we look over the next 20 to 30 years. In fact, I believe the key item is the Information Technology. So, therefore, information technology will radically change the world and our industry. It will change the way we control airplanes. It will change the way we move people through airports and connect them. It will change defense systems.
It will also be a world in which the difference between the "real" and the "virtual" will become blurred, allowing for new experiences for recreation and new ways to conduct business.
how information technology changes the world?
in recent years, rapid technological progress has helped raised income and alleviate poverty in developing countries. the spread of cell phones, computers and other technological innovations has generated economic growth while improving health care and agricultural productions in developing nations. but these countries still have a long way to go to catch up to the rest of the world.
the most important strategy for using innovative technology is discovering and developing a new, profitable market
every nation has the potential for achieving a more affluent society by introducing technology and developing added value in manufactured goods. india succeeded in supplying food for its population, and projections are that india will even export food in the near future. on the other hand, even today 60 percent of the world's population subsists at a starvation level. therefore there should be cooperation and understanding among nations concerning the use of technology as a tool for achieving an improved standard of living for all people.Unfortunately, the fruits of technology are often treated too politically to be used to upgrade the quality of human life. nations should to introduce technology for the purpose of improving tomorrow's quality's life.

"How does technology changes our life?"

AMD Executive Perspectives: There Is No Silver Bullet to Digital Inclusion
12/1/2005
William T. Edwards
Conquering the digital divide requires partnerships and cooperation

* I believe the key item is, in fact, the Information Revolution. It will change a great deal. If we look back at the Industrial Revolution look what it did to the world it changed our world from a rural, agrarian society to an urban, industrial society. It also dramatically raised the standard of living but in a process that was pretty disruptive. I think the Information Revolution will be every bit as disruptive, and it has every bit as much potential.
*I think the key here is that the opportunity exists to do something dramatic about safety, about security, about capacity, and about efficiency of the operation of the air traffic system.
*three very specific examples. They are ones that impact Boeing and impact the industry in general. The first one is air traffic management; second, convenience for the air passenger; third, integrated defense.
*Maybe the best demonstration of the impact of information technology is integrated defense. * I believe the key item is, in fact, the Information Revolution. It will change a great deal.
